Good to Go - Old Street

Good to go is a totally vegan 'grab and go' cafe in Old Street, it has fast but healthy vegan food, with a few seats inside and outside the cafe. They're a bit tucked away from Old Street tube and don't get many people walking past but it's super close to the station so it's well worth a visit if you need a quick bite.

It's a small place with only a few staff members, who are enthusiastic and friendly, plus service is quick.

The jackfruit curry tasted deliciously homemade and healthy, the combination of rice and fresh crunchy salad with it was amazing, and the huge zingy dollop of mango chutney topped it off beautifully! It was super filling and I felt like I'd had something really nutritious afterwards.

The falafel salad was also delicious, although the curry was my firm favourite! The falafel was on a bed of delicious hummus, and the salad was so fresh. Plus, I loved the pomegranate addition, great for a really light lunch.

I also tried a vegan brownie, it was incredible, best vegan brownie I've ever had. It was super chocolatey, dense, gooey and springy! They also do vegan banana bread!

They are offering £2 vegan coffees as a response to companies charging more for plant milk, and they've sourced milk which can be foamed for lattes/cappucinos, I've actually missed foam and I really enjoyed my coffee! The coffee itself is super tasty too, the guy that served me was pretty enthusiastic about quality coffee and you can taste that its been selected with care.

This is most definitely a grab and go/quick bite kind of place rather than somewhere that you'd go for a long sit down meal, but if that's what you're after, I highly recommend! Don't miss the brownie!
