Miranda Cafe: Crouch End
Miranda Cafe is a relatively new vegetarian restaurant in Crouch End Broadway (nearest tube stop: Crouch Hill). Most of their menu is vegan and it is all clearly labelled. Staff were friendly and helpful without being overbearing, and the place was fresh and modern looking with plants, mirrors and exposed brickwork which gave it a trendy but elegant feel.

Brunch (until 1500):
Vegan eggs rancheros - Santa Maria tortilla, black beans, scrambled vegan eggs, guacamole, spicy salsa, vegan cheese, and pico de gallo

Avocado guacamole on sourdough bread - served with a salad garnish
Vegan English breakfast - grilled spicy vegan sausages, baked beans, scrambled vegan eggs, sauteed mushrooms, slow roasted potatoes, and tomatoes, with toasted sourdough bread
Vegan Latin American breakfast - cornbread arepas, mixed beans, scrambled vegan eggs, fried plantain, and avocado guacamole, with salad

Vegan katsu curry - panko seitan, coconut jasmine rice, radish, beans, and carrot salad, with ginger dressing
Vegan shepherd’s pie - with red and brown lentils, parsnips, carrots, brussels sprouts, and cauliflower, in tomato sauce and herbs, with potato mash

Vegan lasagna - with roasted aubergines, courgettes, passata, bechamel sauce, and salad

We went for the hot dogs, they were made out of seitan, were totally loaded with toppings and were delicious! The potatoes were rolled in spices and were soft. Both sides were super tasty and healthier than most hot dog accompaniments. I'd have a hard time coming back here and not going for the hot dogs again but I want to return for the breakfasts which also sound incredible.
