Pergola - Paddington
Pergola is a 2 floored outside bar with roof cover in the downstairs bar and a fully open top on the upstairs bar. It is absolutely huge and has seating for 850 people.
Decor is simple and beautiful, with decorative ivy twines all over the pillars, bar and restaurants. The seating consisted of lined up benches (Oktoberfest style) and had that friendly feel to it, where tables end up interacting naturally with each other. There was a pretty eclectic crowd there, all ages (although more young people), office workers, hen parties, dates, and groups of friends. It's pretty trendy and the staff there from bouncers, restaurant workers and bar staff were really lovely.

The seating area has a bar plus 3 food stalls to order different types of food from, 'Smash Patty' was the only one with a vegan offering, and it was a good offering...'The Pamela Burger'.

The queue was pretty long, I had to wait for a while to order, but then they use a paging system so you can leave and go back to friends whilst waiting for the food. The wait time was pretty long, I waited an hour for it, and unfortunately saw some people be quite unpleasant to the kitchen staff about it which was sad to see, but they definitely needed more help in there to make it efficient in busy times!

The Pamela burger was worth the wait, the patty was juicy, and the freshness of the lettuce and tomato made it feel so much less dirty than it actually was. The vegan cheese and onion complemented it perfectly and the gherkins added a delicious crispy kick to it. Perfect amount of sauce and the 'this isn't bacon' was a tasty and different addition. The chips were very skinny, seasoned perfectly, and arrived bribing over a cup, so I had plenty of them.
