The Vine - Kentish Town
Huuuge pub in Kentish Town with a big giant beer garden at the front, 'The Vine' has the added incentive to go there (aside from the vegan food). They offer Shuffleboarding! There's two boards at the back that you can rent out and it was so much fun!
They have a beaut of a vine covered tunnel entrance to the garden with seating inside. It's a quiet place away from the main activity and it's such a lovely space.
The pub is clean and bright, with fun decor, I love plant life so the vines hanging in the centre made me really happy!
In terms of vegan options, they only serve a vegan burger but it is a delicious one!
with vegan cheese, a toasted bun, gem, carrot & apricot chutney, served with skin-on fries
They also have vegan mayo for the chips which I was surprised about considering they've only got one vegan option, it was creamy and delicious.
Their patty is of one of the new waves of vegan burger and tasted super meaty, the cheese was super gooey, the salad was fresh and the carrot and apricot chutney was absolutely amazing, really unique addition and so tasty!
Staff were of a mixed bag, some were friendly, some were kind of standoffish. The burger was £13.50 which is on the pricey side for a pub burger but not ridiculous for a lovely pub. Plus the burger tasted incredible and the pub was super fun with an amazing beer garden and fun games table. Overall I woould definitely recommend.
